If that's step by step guide for what to do on problems, then I will have to say that it isn't relevant to the question asked by the OP.
Also, I don't think that's a great advice as your response focuses on how to not solve the problem. Instead, the main part of practice should be actual solving and editorial and similar resources should be reduced to minimal. However, they are important after you solve the problem to see if you missed something.

Best way to get creative thinking is to think about problems. Because while thinking of correct way you will think of alternatives that do not work, however, they might work on some other problem.
As it was said many times before, "best way to get better at x is by doing x".
