We are super excited to invite you to participate in Codeforces Round 1007 (Div. 2), which will be held on Friday, February 28, 2025 at 17:35.
This round will be rated for all participants with rating below $$$2100$$$. Participants with higher ratings are encouraged to participate out of the competition.
You will be presented with $$$6$$$ or $$$7$$$ problems and $$$2$$$ hours and $$$15$$$ minutes to solve them. The problems are authored and prepared by Al-Merreikh, ApraCadabra, FzArK, limbo16, MOUFLESS, and Vectors_Master.
We would like to thank everyone who made this round possible:
- Sugar_fan for coordinating the round and helping with problem preparation.
- satyam343 for improving some problems and providing suggestions to help us make the round better.

Ah yes, another Codeforces round—two hours and fifteen minutes of solving problems, debugging typos, and questioning my life choices.
My strategy is clear:
Open the first problem, feel confident. Write 10 lines of code, get a wrong answer. Add print statements. Realize the mistake was an off-by-one error. Fix it, submit again, still wrong. Enter existential crisis mode. If I somehow solve more than one problem, I will consider it a personal victory. If I end up with a grand total of zero, I’ll just say, "I was here for the experience."
Looking forward to the contest—whether I climb the leaderboard or just collect penalty minutes like Pokémon, it’s going to be fun!
This is the most accurate roadmap to a Codeforces round I’ve ever seen. You forgot the final step:
Open the editorial and realize the solution was so obvious that I now need a five-minute break to reflect on my life choices. Honestly, my real goal for this contest is just to avoid a TLE on the first submission. If I manage that, I’ll call it a success. If not, well… at least I’ll have a beautifully crafted collection of wrong answers to admire.
