Usually A easier than B easier than C ..., but sometimes it isn't.

I'd just like to add, it's a good idea when you're solving a competition to glance at standings and see what others have solved. Of course, it is not that you should solve the problems in that order, but it gives you a good guess on how hard each of the problems is.
Go to the Problemset section in this site, then you can see that a lot of problem are there. In each problem you can see which types of problem it is and how many people solved this problem for example : in problemset section you can see the problem New year Candles . on that box , it is written that it is an implementation problem and solved by x3454 people.
however, the problem which is solved by majority of the coder is easier otherwise it will be quite harder. Happy Coding .
