I believe that since it's currently the mid-year holiday season worldwide, it's an opportune time to organize more contests. These contests would not only help us enhance our ratings and skills but also provide an avenue to compete with our friends.

I'm feeling disheartened knowing that some of you have exams during this period. Wishing you all the best of luck with your exams

Yes. Exactly, I was wondering why there are no contests during the winter holiday, just days before, when the only upcoming contest is the Div.4 held weeks later.

Obviously a huge part of Chinese and Japanese are not allowed to play Codeforces during a term because It's too late in our time-zone. I hope we could have more competitions in the near future holidays.

Thank you, Codeforces.

Exactly! I guess more Div3 rounds can be organised before the Div4 as they are much more helpful and good for learning ig. PS: I am a newbie so please feel free to tell if I am wrong

Organizing contests depends on lots of things including but not limited to how many coordinators can work, how many writers can prepare problems and also most importantly, various other commitments which include but they are not limited to preparing for contests and so on.

It might seem counterintuitive but this is a time of the year when usually it takes longer for contests to be created as many potential writers prepare for Olympiads, ICPC and/or exams too.

There are thousands of old contests out there you can use to prepare yourself for the next real ones.
