Hi folks, I have been doing a internship and preping for my placements due to which I had to take some time off... I returned here to see that no of submissions for nearly all the problems have increased by a lot. Does anyone know how this has happened ? Is it because the no of people have increased or something else?
THANKS!!!

people are doing live streams while solving contest problems and there are countless telegram groups leaking solves. What do u expect ?
That has been an issue for far longer than 4 months. And yes, it was also widespread before.
just wonder why those cool coders give solutions for free.
Streamers want views and their channel to grow, and many coders even charge money in exchange for their code. Pathetic thing indeed :(
yeah people are indeed sick with these big numbers

people are literally live streaming the contest so I think you can now figure out what is happening
It's a pathetic situation to be very honest. There are telegram groups that supply like the first 3-4 problems. Some people widely participate in this cheating process just because they have the notion that the better their codeforces ratings is, the better the job they'll be getting.
It's intern/placement season in India. Hence, a lot of people have started to resort to cheating here for internet points.
But Isn't it pointless because all that matters is Skill even if they cheat here they will fail in OAs and if they were lucky enough to pass that they will most certainly will fail on interviews...
I mean, OA cheating is rampant. It's so bad that I'd say you are maybe at a disadvantage if you don't cheat. Just consider that you are hardworking, and by some virtue of luck, you miss one question in the OA. However, a group of cheaters with teamwork gets through and goes through. (not condoning cheating, it's still very bad, it creates a perpetual cycle of companies creating harder OAs, making it harder for genuine people).
However, cheating on codeforces actually makes no sense at all. Yes, it's a shiny thing on your resume to put "Expert On Codeforces," but it ends there.
If you're an expert who can't back it up, you're in a tough spot.i have heard interview shifts from standard dsa/projects to cp qns .
honestly talking it was coming as most of the companies shortlist on the basis of cp ratings(example-google).So cheating and increasing rating in a short time is the only resolution for the guys who were once not interested in cp.But yeah, discouraging for those who have grinded cp . But life goes on like this.
Made me stuck in pupil rank for so long even though i would have gotten a huge delta if cheaters werent there. Dont know what to do
It's summer?
*for most of the world
Summer is meant to enjoy so I started codeforces in month of May and now I think it wasn't a good idea should have joined earlier
better to extend your internship :)
