What if I forget to Lock the Solutions?

Hii, I had a doubt! What happens if I solve some problem during the contest and the solution passes all the pretests, but for some reason I forget to Lock the problem during the contest. Do they auto-lock or something, I mean do they count in ranking and rating changes or not ??

locking a solution gives u the ability to see the solutions of you room (each user is assigned a room) and hack them the only side effect is that u cant change your solution later thats just it
