Negative Delta after Rollback

So many people got their rating decreased after today's rating rollback. I cant understand why?

Can someone explain?

The same thing happened to me, yesterday my rating was 1478, now it is 1473.

The amount of people with higher rating than you below your rank decreased, I guess.

This maybe because less people participated in this contest compared to previous div2 rounds, so upon solving less problems also people got better ranks so maybe in order to adjust that ratings rolled back.

They performed better than the cheaters and stole points from the cheaters lol. Idk. I only got 1 point rating difference, but I noticed.
