I have practiced around 300 questions till now and several 1300 and 1400 rated questions also but my rating is not crossing 1300. Is there something I am doing wrong that I can correct in my practice to increase my rating. Or maybe some new technique Practices questions.
Also is there some technique on how to give a contest bcs I tend to solve the 1400 rated questions during practice but unable to solve them during the contest.
Any suggestions are welcome.
Try practicing harder questions if you have practiced till 1400 rated and reached 1300 that's a amazing result. It's normal being unable to solve the max rated question in contest that you can solve in practice. It's generally speed issue. Well best of luck for 2025.
How long does it take you to solve them in practice? Of course if it's longer than 2 hours then you won't solve them in contest. If you can solve them quickly in practice but not contest then it's probably nerves and you can try some virtual contests. Otherwise, what tends to take the longest when you solve? Coming up with the logic? Implementation? Debugging WA/RE?
