I am a really passionate programmer, but in life, I have never done well in anything, whether co-curricular, academic, programming, or gaming.
I cannot understand many problems, and my performance has worsened. I used to be able to solve at least 1 problem in div3 or div2, but these days, I can't. I can't even think of putting hours into it.
even I can't code even though i check the solution. I need to check the code and be frustrated with my performance, with Olympiad knocking at my door.
So any suggestions would be appriciated...

I feel like I am getting dumber
I feel
I think the real problem is you are not trust yourself, like me now. But through the time, I have to learn more and more to forget that bad memory. Olympia knock my door too and I just have 7 months to become grandmaster, so hard to believe I can do that. Just learn everyday.
Grind problems here on CF. Try to solve a lot of them everyday. I was also stuck, but after I started solving a lot of problems, I can see that I'm improving. Today was the first day that I was able to solve 3 problems on Div. 3 and could solve them relatively quick compared to before. Another thing that has been helping me improve is using paper and pen while thinking about the solution. This way you can write down your thoughts and divide the problem better. What I noticed is that my number theory knowledge isn't very strong as well, so I started doing Alcumus on Number Theory problems (Art of Problem Solving website). I'm not nearly as good as I want to be, but I can feel myself improving the more I grind problems. Try to do it as well and check if it works for you.
I understand how you're feeling. Every point in our journey requires practice to improve, and coding is no different. It’s completely normal to hit a rough patch, especially when motivation wanes.
If you’re feeling stuck, I encourage you to read my recent blog. It might offer some insights or inspiration to help reignite your passion for coding. Remember, it’s okay to take a step back and reassess your approach. Sometimes, a fresh perspective can make all the difference.
You’ve got this, and we're here to support you!
same, but i keep practicing since it's fun to solve problems :)
Study harder and stop crying in blog.
This is also the part of growing, everyone passes this time but it only matters not to give up and overcome the situation. Every time we are watching the successful stories' outcome, not the real path and everyone around us is always sharing the stories of success, not the dedication-sacrifice-pain behind the success.
So, this the time of you are growing too and stay focused on your goal, best of luck!
