I am trying to get to silver division in Usaco. In the previous Usaco contest, I made some critical mistakes such as wasting time. I could only solve one question every Usaco contest. Now, I am practicing Usaco by entering Codeforces contests. However, because I live in Asia, I could only participate in the contest for about 30 minutes maximum. Can anyone give me tips on practicing Usaco?

if you want to participate in contests, but can't spend much time, do a virtual contest the next day (or wait for the occasional round that's at a good time for you)

I was referring to Codeforces Contests. While there's no way that I know that you can do a USACO contest virtually, you can just try to time yourself solving the problems, or if you are willing to use a third party tool, you can make a mock contest on VJudge.

I use USACO problems for topic-wise practice(select from — here). Occasionally, I pick random problems (from Silver and Gold levels) and organize a contest on Vjudge.com to challenge myself. During these contests, I focus on solving the problems with my full brainpower, and after the contest, I upsolve any unsolved problems. You can use this link to select problems: USACO Problem Picker.
