I've played in 3 contests now but am still not sure how to hack. First, I "lock" my solutions when they pass pretests. Then I look in the Standings area for other people with submissions that are in bold font. I doubleclick and/or control-click that cell.
I get a popup, but for other people the only thing I ever see is a single line like "00:06:47 Pretests passed [pretests] → 8184534". Clicking the submission number there, which is a link, does nothing, it just goes to the standings page.
If I do this on my OWN submissions, I see my source code in the popup.
I know this is a dumb question because I see other people are successfully hacking. :-) But any help would be appreciated. I've tried in Chrome and IE11 browsers. Thanks!
You can only hack people in your own room. There should be a "ROOM" link on the top menu bar. If you go there, you can hack anyone there (not necessarily bold font) by double-clicking. It should show the code, like it does for your submissions.
The bond font on the standings page means they also locked their submission; it means they can hack, not they can be hacked.
OK, that's good to know. I had no idea about "rooms"! By the way I cannot find a an "Up" to give you an upvote, but I found a control to give "joudzouzou" below an upvote. But thanks!

What are you, a mentalist?
Muahaha
First, you should look in the room, not standings.
Second, not nessecarily submissions in bold, any submission in your room for a problem you locked
