I think it's not easy to prepare quality problems each day.
And if you want to take contests each day, you can probably make use of codeforces' wonderful feature of taking past contests as a virtual participant.
This way it would serve your purpose too. :)

Indeed, the best way to go to the Div.1 is having a virtual contest everyday.

you can practice more number of contests in a day.
and reach div1 as early as possible.
At last, it all depends on how much you practice.
Someone must prepare these contests, create problemset, tests and checker, translate poblems into russian and so on. It's not so easy to implement everyday contests.
