Hello, friends!
Yes, this post is for friends of Codeforces. Recently Codeforces had 5 years birthday. And on this occasion we opened a campaign to raise funds for the operation and development of Codeforces.
We are eager to develop and move forward and look forward to your participation in the campaign.
We invite you to consider the possibility to support Codeforces. Details of the campaign can be found at its direct link.

UPD: We have great news!
Congratulations! We will go with codeforces for the next five years.
No say I, please say we :)
Did you know? If you reverse this sentence, you get "we say please, I say no"!
Xellos, I suppose that you very often write reverse on your programm
No. No, I don't.
A lot of stuff I think about has nothing to do with coding.
It was actually joke :)
Happy birthday, codeforces!
You helped me a lot. Thank you! :)
Happy Birthday Codeforces! :)
Thank you so much for all your amazing work!!
I would recomend to post here bitcoin address. I don't have large amount but I'm sure that some guys here mined a lot in 2009) Probably, somebody is so generous to share notable sum in bitcoins but too lazy to convert them to Visa/PayPal.
Codeforces 5 year, which are TopCoder's fall down.
For the sake of objectivity, I have to point out that TopCoder is 15 years old, and I've never seen them asking their community for donations, only giving money away. (Well, one could argue that Member SRMs were kind of donations, but it's debatable)
I think that asking for money is not something that makes difference between two resources for competitive programming. It's just a consequence of things that are far from what people are doing here.
Whenever someone talks against Topcoder, I imagine you appearing magically from somewhere and defending it, whether it's Quora, or Codeforces :)
Crowdfunding has only become a thing recently, though (and asking for individual donations probably wouldn't have nearly the desired effect). I'm not at all surprised TC hasn't asked for donations in the last 15-3 years. A better question is: why has it not asked in the last 3 years?
Maybe it's because they're dealing with much more money than what's needed for algorithm competitions?
Also, unless I'm fundamentally wrong, TC has a source of income outside of sponsors, which are Design competitions, for example. I would imagine TopCoder taking a cut from those.
No website can be like Codeforces...!
Happy Birthday Codeforces! :)
Thank you, Mike and your friends, for your idea and realization of that platform.
I love codeforces :)
Congratulations!Happy birthday codeforces !
Is it possible to have something like Coder of the Month on Codeforces ?
Am I a little bit bored? I found the first submission of codeforces here: The First Submission Status PageAnd it starts with 42 , so I guess you have tested for 41 times before publish the codeforces website? Codeforces have done very good job in the past 5 years. Thanks
This might be a better link.
Badges of Honor are released. Many thanks to all the supporters. I hope that the goal $10K can be overfunded and additional budget will help us be better!
Happy new year! Happy new Codeforces!
