On 12th oct DENNIS RITCHIE died but no one knows it, even some of the Good programmer...
His death came a week after the death of Steve Jobs, although Ritchie's death did not receive as much media coverage.
R.I.P DENNIS..:(:(
Without Dennis Ritchie we would have:
No Windows
No Unix(no iOS no APPLE)
No C
No Programs
A large setback in computing
No Generic-text Languages.
We would all read in Binary.

Sounds like scolding for not highlighting the issue in media.
His death really deserves more attention in media. We find his inventions everywhere in the world now...
But Ritchie himself might not have wanted to attract attention. He seems to have lived alone, and even the cause of his death is not revealed.
After all, we programers know who he was, and what he has done for us. Doesn't it suffice?
