CROC invites talented and innovative programmers (at least 18 years old) to participate in the Open Moscow Programming Championship. The championship is held on the basis of the Codeforces project. Saratov State University involved into jury and the technical committee. The official championship language is Russian, but the problems will be in Russian and English.
The championship will consist of qualification, two online rounds (on April 3-4, 6 and 20) and the final round that will take place on April, 27 in Moscow in the CROC Headquarters. The championship finals will also include a AI-game round.
The championship winners will be awarded with valuable prizes: the first place winner gets 100000 rubles, the second and third place winners get Apple MacBook Pro. The contestant who wins the first place in the AI-game round will be awarded with an Apple MacBook Air.
To participate in the championship, you must register on http://www.crocok.ru/championship/ (in Russian) before April 4, 2012.

Details
The championship will consist of a qualification round, two online-rounds and the final round that will take place in Moscow in the CROC company office. The final round is not only for Moscow residents, but the trip to the CROC Headquarters is organized and paid for by finalists.
The schedule of the Championship stages is as follows (UTC):
- April 3-4, from 08:00, April 3 to 08:00 April 4 — the qualification round (Internet), top 1000 contestants advance to the first round,
- April 6, 15:00-17:00 — the first elimination online round (Internet), top 300 contestants advance to the second round,
- April 20, 15:00-17:00 — the second elimination online round (Internet), top 50 contestants advance to the finals
- April 27- the finals (onsite, in the CROC Headquarters)
Also, on April 27, a AI-game round will take place before the final round. The author of the best algorithm will be awarded by a valuable prize.
If several contestants get the same number of points in any round and are placed on advancement cutoff, all of them advance to the next round. In all rounds a competitor must get a positive score to advance to the next round. All rounds require individual registration (separate from the championship registration), which ends 5 minutes before the round start (except for Qualification Rounds, which will be open for registration till the end of the rounds).
Most rounds will be opened for unofficial (out of championship) participations for everyone as rated Codeforces rounds.
Participating in the qualification round is obligatory to participate in the championship.
The elimination online rounds and the Championship finals will be held based on the Codeforces project by the original Codeforces rules. Please make sure to read the rules beforehand.
You will be offered the following programming languages:

- OCaml
- Haskell
- Perl
- Scala
Because of really different performance of different programming languages we do not guarantee that any problem can be solved on each language.
