Hello CodeForces Community!

The top 15 Indian teams that arrive at the finale will be entitled for an all expense paid trip to Mumbai. (Provided that they do qualify for the onsite finale. Also, taking into consideration the previous discussions regarding the timing of online elimination round of the contest, the organizers had done a poll beforehand, so as to satisfy time demands by more contestants.
I hope you like the new timings and that will enjoy the contest till the very end. That will be all from my side for now. See you all at the contest. Regards, Ciao, Siba Prasad Tripathy (manvscode)
Hey, is anyone able to register? The registration is buggy; I cannot go past this form. It always says "City is required" even though I filled the field correctly -__-
Urgh, seems like you guys just exceeded daily Google API quota... got this in the browser console:
Guess I'll just try again tomorrow.
chanukya_p could you please fix this issue? I was finally able to register, but now my teammate could not accept the invitation because he could not fill in the city :(
fushar the issue has been fixed yesterday, he should be able to login and accept your team invite request. If you face any issues, please let us know.
chanukya_p I can't accept team invitation because I have to fill the city field. Is the Google Maps API request reached its quota already for today?
afaji321 Could you please try again and let us know? It should be working fine. We regret the inconvenience caused.
Yes, the current behaviour did not ask for city anymore, thus solved the issue.
Thanks!
You got the meme wrong. The guy who gets kicked out makes a sensible suggestion.
Also, I don't understand why I am only able to specify a single T-shirt size, city, and occupation. What if my teammate and I have different body sizes, live in different cities, and have different occupations?
As far as I understand the system there's team account which should be linked to both user accounts and you can specify all that in user accounts.
@fushar, the team owner's information (ex: t-shirt size, city etc) is taken while registering a team. Upon completion of the registration, a team invitation request will be sent to your teammate asking them to join your team. Further, your teammate will be asked to fill his/her details before accepting the invite. Hope this should help.
From this statement it seems like the prize would be 1 t-shirt per team. Please tell me that's not what you meant!
Hail my little funny enemy!
This message is not quite for you personally but just for all the stupid Muslim bastards. Let me simply cite myself, from a better arena. I really hope you're aware that we are about to kill all of you, hang in a toilet and then throw out your bodies to feed the pigs?.. And later enjoy their delicious ham and bacon and fatback with vodka.
Hi Mike Mirzayanov, by the way!
So ... assuming this is not hacked account, I must inquire ... how are you Ferlon? I read your blog of course, retirement and all, and thus am curious how you are doing these days?
Yes it's me, not hacked at all, rather vice versa. Are you paid for the inquiry? If yes, in what way?
Oh I meant no offense with the hacked comment, just surprising that you come back 6 years after your last comment :)
As to your question, I am unsure of the implication, but I can tell you that I have never gotten paid for anything in my life, everything I do is because of my own boredom and interests :)
Yes you know I quit because I failed. But it wasn't a fair fight, I had been cheated on. Very badly and mean. My dear hacker comrades (especially Petr), please help me make sure all those parasites burn in napalm! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7DldI22ObPo

Hail Codeforces!
I don't know who you are, but spreading hate at one's religion is not cool.
Liberation, Upbringing, Transformation :)
Well, and right now they are trying to actually hack me here. So, just in case, please don't trust further comments!
Why minuses? I should say that previous final was great, especially accommodation and organizers' attitude. The problems were interesting but could've been a bit better, hope it will be the case this year.
I like it when a post has many downvotes and then when a red coder defends the post...the upvotes suddenly become positive
perks of being red
I am looking for last year's finals editorials. Can you please share last year's finals solution slides?
Even I was wondering about the same thing :/
I asked the question in codechef forums: link
chintu ista2000 Solution slides of SnackDown 2016 onsite finals can be found here: https://goo.gl/hoRGLx We shall soon try and publish its editorials. Sorry for the inconvenience caused.
Is there any way to change T-Shirt size?

Do I the only one that think problem C is way more harder than problem D?
Or maybe the problems aren't sorted by their difficulties.. (?)
--
Clarification: When I was writing this, problem C was "Snake Eating" while problem D was "Same Snake".
The problems are sorted by number of Successful Submissions.
'Same Snake' just happens to be least solved because of implementation I guess.
Just out of curiosity, how hard are the problems compared to codeforces problems? eg: is Snake Eating hardness comparable to div2C?, etc.
IMHO, "Snake Eating" is as hard as Div2C, while the rest stay at Div2A or even Div2B just for "Same Snake". I just didn't expect the number of solver in "Same Snake" was similar with (or even less than) "Snake Eating" when I was writing that comment (o.o)
I thought the same. However, number of solvers is less maybe because people aren't solving all the problems, as only one is needed to solve. What surprised me was the success rate of C and D, when I first read them (6% and 15%)
Am i the only one thinking about snakes eating each other and them slithering around here and there as an effect of the questions :p Yikes!
Small question about the system (in particular, "team"/"individual" mapping).
I am registered to the contest as a member of team "unpretired". When I'm submitting problems, "submit" button says "Submit on behalf of unpretired". However, when I look at scoreboard — I see "ilyakor" there, not "unpretired" (i.e. myself, not the team). Is it WAI? are submissions correctly accounted to the team?
ilyakor the submissions are correctly being counted to your team. You have picked the team display name to be your username, hence the username is showing up on the ranklist. You may refer your team profile through the following link: https://www.codechef.com/teams/view/unpretired.
OK I see, thanks. That's strange — I've just re-used the team created last year, and last year it was displayed correctly IIRC. Is there any way to edit display name? (it seems I cannot do it both if I logged in as my personal account and as team account)
ilyakor we are sorry, since the team is re-used we can't change the display name as it is associated with other contests which you have competed in the past.
I think I have the same problem. Our team name is "AtCoder2017" and it was newly created this year, but still it shows my handle in the scoreboard.
Also posting this here: I'm thinking of participating, anyone wants a teammate? (The closer to my skills, the better.) I've got some offers already.
UPD: No need to fear me so much as to downvote me :D
In shitposting or competitive programming?
Yes.
