Obviously Codeforces...duh!!!
why do you think so?
Because Codeforces never gives u false positive that you are improving unlike codechef.
I think you should go for both, I mean there's not generally clash between the time of CodeChef contest and code forces then why not use both platforms
I am asking in terms of problem archive.
i think you will find much diverse set at codechef for beginners
Like what I find is that majority of the problems on codeforces are math-centric.
By diverse what do you mean?
codechef includes easy questions of dp and graphs and sometimes implementation of pre existing methods
Can you tell which problems should one solve on codechef as the problems are not given definite ratings on codechef (for someone to reach expert)?
you could look on the tags after contest ends and can see why were you unable to solve it, whether you dont know the topic or you just wasn't able to form a proper algo during the given time .
