Isn't it better to write your post right here? Is there any good reason?
Isn't it better to put articles on a personal blog rather than just on a site that pretty much groups together blogs from many people? It also keeps the personal blog alive.
I think the cross-post is the best solution for Petr's blogs (that means, posting at two places same time: here and in his personal blog). Of course, his news and thoughts are very useful and suitable as a content for CodeForces.
But I think the main problem is in current way of information structuring on site (blog system with no filtering by topics / date / something else...)
I don't want to write posts here because I don't control what happens with them. What if I want to insert a video and Codeforces doesn't support embedded videos? What if I want an RSS feed or email updates for my posts and Codeforces doesn't provide it, naturally hoping that people will come back to the website instead? What if Codeforces bans somebody and I disagree — but now he/she can't leave comments? And ultimately, what will Codeforces look like 10 years from now? I have no idea.
I'm fine with discussion both here and on the blog, so if you have questions or comments please ask here :-)
Well, of course, blogspot is more reliable, because Google never shuts down anything...
At least I can (and do) regularly download full dump of my blog :-)
But I agree that moving to a custom domain would be even better.
There will be solutions outline?
Solutions to what?
SRM 600.5 problems. I'm really curious about the solution for the third problem
As I wrote in the post, I have no idea how to solve it, so I can't post a solution. Let's see if somebody who can solve it will explain (tourist?)
yeah......tourist loves to share.
