I have not participated in many contests so far, my rating says newbie, so kindly bear these questions for me. I got some doubts while attending a contest, just wanted to ask, really want to know, didn't get many of these written anywhere clearly:

• How scoring for a Problem work, and does it get decreased as more time we take to solve?
• How the Penalty system work?
• If I get the wrong answer for the 7th pretest, will I get any score for passing the rest of the pretests?
• Do even after passing all the pretests, the system has other main tests to be mandatorily passed for actual scoring?

If somebody can answer them precisely, how it works. It would be a great help. Thanks a lot.
