Hey everyone!

Today there was a blog by cerberus87 which stated that they needed testers for a contest they were planning to host in their school.

We emailed them that we would be happy to test the problems for them.

Then the sent us the following question :

To our disappointment, the question was part of the ongoing hackerearth circuits : Link

We commented about this on the blog (as visible from the above screenshot) but now the blog has been deleted by the user!

It was a cheap trick and users should refrain from doing this! If you need help solving a problem, please ask after the contest or at-least have the courtesy to ask it upright!

The platform of Codeforces was meant to help, learn and grow! I request on behalf of everyone in the community to avoid this kind of behaviour in future!

Thanks and happy coding :)

Hey!

I was trying to solve the problem WARRIORS from August Cook Off.

I came up with a solution and implemented it but got a Wrong Answer! After hours of debugging I decided to have a look at another participant's solution. To my amaze , our solutions were almost identical!

I am still unable to understand where is my code failing!

My Solution.

Can you help?

Hey everyone!

For last couple of days I have been working on creating a class for Trie data structure. This class provides few necessary and standard functions out of the box!

Here it is : Link

Also , I have added support for creating Persistent Trie. (You can learn about it over here)

You can see in this submission how easy it is to use this class for solving questions on persistent trie!

I invite all of you to use this template , suggest changes/improvements , point out errors, anything you think should be enhanced or added!

You can contact via commenting , DM or even raise a pull request and be a contributor!

Looking forward to your responses! :D

Thank you! :)

PS : Watch the github repository to know about future additions. Star if you like my work! :D

Hey everyone!

I have been trying to implement a Matrix class that contains the operations required frequently when facing problems of that domain.

So here it is : Link

I would like to invite everyone to use this for their convenience.

The implementation is to best of my knowledge but I am sure it's not perfect or complete. So if you can think of any improvements or additions please comment or DM or add a pull request!

I also intend to add templates regarding other topics as well. Please suggest me a few topics to work on.

Thank You! :)

EDIT1 : Hey everyone! Sorry I was unavailable for a couple of months and was not able to include the feed-backs I received from you guys! I will start working on them ASAP.

EDIT2 : Hey! I have made quite a few changes and added more operators & functions. Please checkout! :D

PS: Add watching to the repository to find out latest updates. Also I'll be adding other templates as well! Star the repository if you find it helpful! Thanks :)

Hi everybody,
I recently studied about centroid decomposition technique. I wanted to know if the Centroid Decomposition and Heavy Light Decomposition (HLD) techniques are interchangeable. Can any problem which can be solved using one of the method solvable using other?

Also can this problem be solved using centroid decomposition? I know that a HLD solution does exists for the problem.
