Hello,
I am a teacher/coach for middle and high school students in California. The classes are structured so that they start with intro stuff like "given A and B find A+B" and gradually go up to more advanced competitive programming problems.
I want to use codeforces as a platform for practical classes so that the students seamlessly "graduate" to traditional codeforce-style problems and all the practical lessons are in one place. Is it ok to use codeforces for this?
My plan so far is to a) Add problems I have into polygon b) Create a series of contests out of them "Intro lesson", "dynamic programming lesson" etc c) Add existing codeforces problems to the contests where appropriate.
Is this an appropriate way to use codeforces? And/or should i be using mashups (or other existing codeforces functionality) instead?
Thanks, Akim.
