Hello Codeforces!↵
↵
The third edition of [MindCoding](http://mindcoding.ro) is going to make its debut on [Thursday, the 4th of February, 19:00 EET](http://www.timeanddate.com/worldclock/fixedtime.html?msg=MindCoding+2016+Test+Round&iso=20160204T19&p1=2210&ah=1&am=30), with a [Test Round](https://mindcoding.ro/ct/mc2016testd1). I invite you all to participate and help us test the improvements in our platform on this occasion.↵
↵
There will be a total of 4 online qualification rounds, and one on-site final round. The final will take place in the city of [Cluj-Napoca, Romania](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Cluj-Napoca), the same as last year.↵
↵
The format of the contest is similar to that of Codeforces and TopCoder, so the learning curve should be quite mild. A new feature for this year is the addition of a second division, for beginners.↵
↵
The rounds are organized by fellow Codeforces members:↵
↵
- Petru Trîmbițas ([user:Petru,2016-01-27]) — project coordinator↵
- Cosmin Rusu ([user:cr.rusucosmin,2016-01-27])↵
- Sergiu Pușcaș ([user:Sergiu,2016-01-27])↵
- Marius Gavrilescu ([user:mgv,2016-01-27]) — the creator of our platform↵
- Dan Bodnariuc ([user:Dutzul,2016-01-27])↵
- Gabriel Ineluș ([user:gabrielinelus,2016-01-27])↵
- Adrian Crăciun ([user:mlc,2016-01-27])↵
- Bianca Costin ([user:o_mic,2016-01-27])↵
- Flaviu Berbecariu ([user:SpiriFlaviu,2016-01-27])↵
- Casian Marc ([user:marccasiannicolae,2016-01-27])↵
↵
Last year's winners were rewarded with a total prize pool of €1500. You might recognize some of them from competitions such as the IOI and ACM-ICPC.↵
↵
![2015 winners](https://ieval.ro/~sergiu/mindcoding_winners.jpg)↵
↵
You can use the quick-start guide and the existing problem archive for practice. Some of my favourite problems are:↵
↵
- [Office](https://mindcoding.ro/pb/office) — beginner↵
- [Wilson](https://mindcoding.ro/pb/wilson) — beginner↵
- [Eggs](https://mindcoding.ro/pb/eggs) (interactive) — medium↵
- [kSpecialists](https://mindcoding.ro/pb/kspecialists) — medium↵
- [The Oddest Tree](https://mindcoding.ro/pb/theoddesttree) — medium↵
- [FloodIt](https://mindcoding.ro/pb/floodit) — hard↵
↵
If you happen to struggle in coming up with a solution, most problems have a description of the answer on the right-hand side of the page.↵
↵

↵
I hope you all have fun participating in our test and qualification rounds!
