Google's DeepMind has unveiled AlphaCode 2, a powerful AI enhanced by Gemini AI that solves competitive programming problems.
let's compare the results of AlphaCode 1 and 2.
AlphaCode 1 result:
— between gray and green rating
— Solved 25% of problems from 12 contests div.2 or div.1+2
— Better than 46% of people at these contests
AlphaCode 2 result:
— between blue and purple rating
— Solved 43% of problems in 12 contests div2 and div.1+2
— Better than 85% of people at these contests
AlphaCode 2 significantly improved the results. If Alphacode 2 is released into the public domain, it becomes possible to cheat at contests.
I will be waiting for the battle tourist vs AlphaCode 3 XD
so far AlphaCode 2 is not as strong as AlphaGeometry, but I am still scared.
