Is codeforces down or something ?

My submission for a problem has been in queue for about 20 minutes now. I am quite new to codeforces. I have never seen this happen before. Is it normal ?

No, this is rare. Generally, you can see this situation while system testing is going on. Right now, they are not evaluating any new submissions. It may be due to some ongoing maintenance.

Really rare this time. My submission stays 'in queue' for almost 4 hours. Currently about 7k submissions are in queue.

MikeMirzayanov can you tell us what happened?
