I was thinking about a new feature to add in codeforces, What if codeforces became like the competitive games?

By that I mean that Codeforces can have a current season running in which the first few contests will determine your rate in the season with also considering the rate you ended with in the previous season.

I think it will be a cool idea and will make the website more competitive based.

Why not introduce skins for data structures and cases/lootboxes which give access to exclusive algorithms while we're at it?

We could also have "badges" for achievements within a season. For example, number of problems solved that are rated >= your rating + C , where C can be a little bit negative or positive, it depends (stimulates solving harder problems and actually improving)

Let's also not forget about battle pass and free users can only sumbit once on each problem.

    Separate lobbies will be made for battle pass users and free users.

    • Prime users will get better servers, insta-bans during contests for cheaters, much shorter queue and various qol improvements.
    • Meanwhile free lobbies will be filled with cheaters (as anti-cheat won't work here for some arbitrary reason), have shitty servers, and 1 hour long queue.

    Battle-Pass price: $29.99 for one season (pricing may vary based on region)
