Chymera's blog

Most of the time I find myself curious about the rating of a problem (1200, 1300, 2400, etc..), so that I can know whether it is likely that I will be able to solve it or not, but I don't necessarily want to spoil the tags of the problem. Is there a way I can see the rating of a problem without also looking at the tags? If there is no way, I think this is useful to implement.

First, entre "PROBLEMSET". Second, you can see "Settings" on the right. Third, set "Show tags for unsolved problems" into false. And then you can see the rating without tags.

What about inside the problem itself? someone might give me a link to the problem so I directly enter the problem statement, I won't go and search for the problem in the problem set (ideally).

I think you should also hide the difficulty of the problems because of two reasons :

1- You'll limit yourself in some difficulities without expanding your knowledge by solving problems higher than you.

2- I think sometimes it doesn't express the real difficulty of the problem.

I think solving problems in a blinding way is more effective.
