Finally Pupil

In today's contest i finally reached pupil after more than 3 months of doing competitive programming,and times when i was so close but then had a bad contest i am still glad i hadn't reached pupil at that time i was not that good anyways and did not deserve it(please upvote).

    Well first master language of course do many contests train regularly,cpp stl is important with some alvorithms so do csee it has nice trucks to learn and never give up it takes a bit of time

        1 year is quite a lot i think you have the level to reach pupil but based on your last performance i see that you kept trying with B however if you had read C it was application of a simple algo that is it and D was just observation by the way in that contest i also had problem with B but i skipped it and went to C and D and then came back i also advice to solve some cses and more codeforces B.

          I'm stuck in solving C with dp in that contest, but it fails in 2 sample test cases. I initially skipped B due to its complex language but when I understood the question I solved it soon. D and E were so much easier that I didn't open that in between contests, but while up solving did both in 30 min ;)

            well if you failed in C then you definitely need to do cses and read the cp handbook very interseting to practice algos not only in classical way but also new tricks

              Not fail exactly did that while upsolving when I remembered that it was a modification of the Maximum subarray problem, failed with the dp approach at that moment, I solved nearly 10 of the dp problems from cses sheet, some on leetcode also. I know that was not sufficient and will take this as feedback also.

                well not solve it in contest is kind of fail to solve it and i get it sometimes in contests we make mistakes that we would not do in normal practice

          Can you mention your approach to practicing and the resources you followed to learn topics? Any roadmaps, problem sets, etc. type of thing you followed.

            well nothing ordered but i do cses frequently and i also learn new algos and practice from cf archive i think what helped is that i always try to learn from contests and i am consistent in practice as for roadmaps there are many on cf just type cp roadmap codefordes in google

            try to do problems which you struggle with in order to improve and be serious in contests i mean give it everything and try to be as fast as possible

                well just do more of them because really one year of practice if you were consistent you gotta have a great level
