Have you ever think about having a codeforces application on your phone?
Yes , you heard right ! A mobile application.
There are many benefits of developing an application rather than using website. Here are some of the benefits :
In the begining, mobile application is more faster than website . why is that possible? Because, when you use mobile application , your data is stored locally on your mobile while on website it generally use web servers.
Another benefit , most people uses their phones like most of their times scrolling here and there. So, what if we made codeforces as application? That will encorge CPers to solve whenever they want without running thier computers.
In addition , they can check thier total stats (like total solved problems in specific rating or more complicated analyses) offline and whenever they want.
This is optional , but we can download the questions offline so we can solve it later if there are no internet or electricity off . Also , a local judge can be downloaded and save user'a answer with the code untill the user connect to the internet so it upload it.
In the end , applications are more modern than website . We are in ai and programming era.
I really appriciate your time in reading this and this is my own opinion about codeforces as a mobile app.hope it was helpful ❤
I can't wait to solve the Div4 A problem in Python.Or on paper as in 2010.
It's goofy to write code on mobile phones
Yes , i agree. But at the worest case scenario , there are someone who doesn't have computer (because of financil problems) . Or he may have it but electricity there maybe off for a long time.
People may use it as stats checker while no coding on phone . Otherwise they can code and submit freely from phone.
yeah but it is very unconvenient to code on your phone like you will not be able to improve at all.
ok gray
please downvote me
Why could someone do that ?
as you wish
A number of people have written all sorts of "companion" apps.
I see no real reason to have an official one. Downloading statements for offline viewing works well enough on mobile browsers.
I totally agree with you as i already doing that. But, as we are in the digital era , it could be mordern to have an application.
That'a my opinion.
