I am writing this blog after discovering that my codeforces account is hacked. This handle is the one which is being hacked by someone. The current email id used for this account is [email protected]. The domain of the email used is mailna.co which is mostly used for scams. I am writing this blog because I am already logged in from this account on my device. I cannot change my email or password because it requires my current password which the scammer has changed.

This post is to inform that any further activities from this handle is not from the original user and is from a scammer. I request the officials and MikeMirzayanov to shut down this account to prevent its misuse.

Its very disappointing and frustating to see my months of hard work go into vain. Well I hope to create a new account and soon catch up. Perhaps this is one of the times where I agree its not the ratings but the knowledge gathered from my cp journey that will be with me forever.

PS: Any help on how to recover my handle or any other advice or measures I can take to prevent this from happening in the future will be appreciated.

UPDATE: Got my account back!! . Searched mailna.co api , found its a disposable mail, next i searched temp mail generators that uses mailna.co api found a website named mohmal mail, i created a mail with that same address set my password and voila got the mail id where my cf acc was linked. Rest is history. Hope anyone facing the same problem will get help :)
