It was just announced that IOI 2027 will take place in Potsdam, Germany. This makes Germany join one of the now 6 countries who have/will have hosted an IOI twice, along with Greece, Egypt, Bulgaria, Hungary and Singapore (2x online).

Nope, in the IOI 2025 website they only say When: 2025 lol
But it usually doesn't differ that much from year to year. Prob early september still.

Do you have any idea about why IOI held so late to compare other international olympiad(ICHO, IMO, IBO, IPHO)?

Not really. Must be to not collide with the other ones or something along those lines.
But it really is kind of bad, especially considering that this time is the start of the semester for most of the US colleges.

The Republic of China has long ceased to exist, and the "independent state of Taiwan" is not recognized by the United Nations,so which country are you loving?

I think your allegations are incorrect. All products we own are mass produced by China so how can they spare people who they need as laborers?

Please do not downvote if this economic logic is incorrect

As a student who intended to be a capitalist, I agree with his logic, and I'm also an advocate for literal slavery as well.

I wouldn't want to mention politics, but the official IOI website shows that only IOI2014 was held in Taiwan, does that mean you are counting IOI2000, which was held in Beijing, as well? That suits a "One China policy" by a literal means though.

Lol I realized that initially the blogposter mistakenly put Finland into the list too. I suspect which Wikipedia the blogposter was using.

According to the IOI official website, China & Taiwan belong to different regions.

It is not about politics, but this is the IOI rule, just like hksar and China has two teams in the olympic games. and the hksar and the China both have their individual medal lists.

I agree with the comment that Taiwan is one of the China's provinces. I love my country and I'm against all of the actions which may or will split China.
