Hello, Codeforces!

UTPC, the competitive programming organization at the University of Texas at Austin, is happy to invite you to participate in the first contest of the UTPC Fall contest season which will be held on Friday, September 13, 2024 at 6:00PM UTC-5 (CDT).

You will be given 8 problems (roughly ordered by difficulty) and 2 hours to solve them, with standard ICPC scoring. There will be a wide range of difficulties -- anyone is welcome to participate! We have will two divisions, Div. 2 for beginners to competitive programming and Div. 1 for people with some experience. This is a team contest, meaning that you are allowed to compete in teams of up to 3 members (it is totally acceptable to compete without teammates as well). This is (of course) not an official Codeforces round, and is thus unrated.

The problems were prepared and tested by B-1168, bridgeminion, Daveeed, DylanSmith, ericpenguin, GhOsT16790, isaac18b, porkchops, tn757, and zekigurbuz.

And also a huge thanks to speedycatfish for planning logistics and to mwen and fishy15 for help with testing problems!

We would like to thank:

The contest will be posted in the Gym tab here on Codeforces. Good luck and have fun!
