Hello codeforces !

my question is How contests get distributed over days ?

why sometimes we have 9 days without div 2 or div 1 contests in a row ( for example, [19, 26] feb 2025 or [9, 18] dec 2024 ), but sometimes we have three consecutive contests in three days ? ( for example, 26,27 and 28 October 2024 )

We maybe not be paying anything directly but this platform is meant for us. And so we have the right to question or ask the authors or share our opinions about various aspects involving it.

My guess is that rounds are coordinated based on the individual problemsetter / coordinator's preference, and are mostly done independently, with an exception to ensure that two contests don't run on the same day.

That's interesting, seems like both were based on onsite events so maybe they couldn't be delayed? With that being said, that's very rare.

Who knows, but there have definitely been fewer contests recently.
