I created this post a year ago (wew, I didn't realise it's already a year) after WF 2014, but I accidentally deleted it just now :'(

Here are several photos of me with famous people I met in ACM ICPC World Finals 2014. It is a great honour to met these people :)

I think everybody in this forum know who he is :)

me with tourist. As we know, he isn't competing this year, and I don't know what is he doing here. :p This is the second time I took picture with him. I took a picture with him two years ago in IOI 2012 :)

me with yeputons. One of the member of St. Petersburg State University (the champion) team.

There are also other several 'targets', but I didn't manage to get the photo with them :'(

This year (2015), I am also in ICPC World Finals and I managed to take more photos with people that I didn't manage to get the photo with :)

So cool photos!

Taking photographs with famous people is a nice hobby. Last year I also tried to do it in IOI. It was fun though I always failed and looked very stupid in the photos :(. I also faced a problem: some people are so shy (or maybe they just hated me...) that they don't want to come to a photo. Does anyone have some good tips about how to get a photo with shy people?

    This reminded me of a story that happened couple of years ago in our ACM regional:

    My friend wanted to take a photo with a girl from a very good Chinese ACM team. Being shy, the girl said no at first, but he was persistent. So finally she said "Ok, but I have to ask for my team leader for permission" (what?). And then she come back and said the team leader did not allow it, lol.

    This story probably doesn't answer how to get photo with shy people, but I think it's good answer to reverse question: How can a shy person avoid taking pictures with others? :))
