Two days ago, I noticed that contest I uploaded to the CF Gym had disappeared. On investigating more, it appeared that the name of the contest had been changed, and it had been made private (visible only to me).
I found that the contest.xml in the ftp was also edited. Is this a bug? Or do people maliciously edit other people's contests? If the latter, how do I keep it from happening again?
In the current state the system allows anyone to edit a gym contest as long as they have coaching rights. Editing includes changing viewing permissions. Although it is expected that highly rated users are generally responsible, there will be outliers. I guess you can get more control over a contest if you use it inside a private training group.
Hmm, guess I will just have to check in on the contest once a week to see if it's doing fine. Thanks for replying!
Follow up: is there a setting to get a notification every time somebody edits a particular contest?
