Changing email with gmail registered account

I've registered with a Gmail account, but now I would like to change the email. To change the email in the settings menu, you need to input the "Old password", but because I've registered with Gmail, this account doesn't have a password. Is there any way I can change the email of my account?

Logout, and then at the login screen press "Forgot password". Then you should get a password sent to your email adress.
