When I try to enter UVA, Firefox shows a message: "Firefox has detected that the server is redirecting the request for this address in a way that will never complete. This problem can sometimes be caused by disabling or refusing to accept cookies." (Chrome doesn't work either)
Then I disable cookies from it and enter, but this way prevent me from logging in. Anybody knows how to fix this problem?
whenever I get this problem on Chrome, I do the following :
Settings -> Show advanced settings... -> Content Settings... -> All cookies and site data -> search string "onlinejudge" -> there'll be about 13 cookies -> delete them all.
After this UVA works again. My Chrome version is: 23.0.1271.95 m You could also try accessing UVA from incognito mode. Hope this helps.
It works for me. Thank you very much :)
Edit: The similar way in Firefox does, too.
Thanks...it worked....Does this problem reoccur once I have cleared the cookies??
Yes it does. It will occur again and again.
Incidentally there is an easier way to resolve this.
uva.onlinejudge.org
and clickRemove
Thanks a lot!
Hello, I still face the problem. The website is not loading at all. Actually, I want to practice exercises from competitive programming 3 book by halim. Can I know any alternative other than UVA online judge?
You can use Virtual Judge.
You can open UVa judge in incognito mode of browser.
And if still not working then disable your AntiVirus and try again.
CodeForces is also facing similar technical problem. Won't open even after I deleted the cookies and cleared the cache. I have logged in through Incognito tab.
I think thats why this announcement is on every page on codeforces Due to technical reasons Codeforces may be unavailable on April 21st from 01:00-07:00 (MSK).
Exactly!
