Firstly a very happy new year to all coders here :) Hope this year brings lots of Accepted to you.

I have written this blog to help people who ask questions regarding how to change the handle. If you decide to change the handle, (and you thought twice about it, because it is irreversible and can be done only once) , this blog might help you.

This is a new year gift from codeforces and only valid for the first ten days.

Follow the mouse pointer and you are done!!!

I can't change my handle from Bayram to bayram ! x( Can anyone tell me how ?

    That is because the handle names are case- insensitive. You can log in with both the names. Check it out !!

      I changed mine from joudzouzou to JoudZouzou
      UPD: Just noticed that the blog is 3 years old :D

    You can change to another name. And after year change back to bayram :P

      Is it allowed to re-change the handle another year once you have changed it this year?? I am not that sure..

I can't change my handle, error message says

"You can't not use this handle"

but, I can't find user use this handle... someone know why?

    Well you cannot do that :( But it can be done if you can wait for a year :)

      Actually, Mike stated that you can never have a handle that has previously be instantiated.

      You can change your handle to the new one which wasn't used before by anybody or which was used by you before.

    take your friends handle and password and login with it & give yours to your friend.

    You can't change your handle at anytime, Changing Handle is only available in the first ten days of the year...

    So you have to wait till 1-1-2017 :V

i am trying to change my handle, but the it is showing the handle is already taken. when i visit the handle, i see that the handle has not been logged in in 11 years. is there a way i can use the handle name?

It says, "Your handle can't be changed because you haven't participated in enough contests." I have already given 6 contests how many more do I have to give in total in order to change my handle? Please help!
