Hello Community,

I was wondering why did CS Academy stopped making contests ? (the last contest was on 22/08/2018 — without counting the IEEEXtreme 12.00- )

Their contests were really good, most of the problems have nice ideas and are very interesting, solutions validation system is also pretty quick with direct system tests and no server problems nor queues at all !!!

I hope the admin explains the reason behind this sudden stoppage and I really hope it's just a lack of time not a financial problem or something.

If it is indeed a financial issue, I think the CP community around the world can help this great website through online donations ( like GoFundMe or some similar website), all they have to do is to ask for help !

As far as I know, they were just waiting to have enough problems for holding contests weekly for a longer period.I've spoken to alex.velea at an onsite Romanian contest about 2 months ago and he said they were planning to come back(he estimated a period of a few months, if I remember right). Not sure if this is something official, though.I don't know if they have any other issues, but asking one of them for an official answer could clear the situation for all the community.

For some time I used to skip Codeforces rounds to do CSA rounds, It's really sad why they stopped, and weird why nothing official was announced!!!

I really miss those short and to the point problem statements.
