Why has the contribution suddenly got down??

Some time before I had contribution points 70, Now profile is showing only 19.
Am I the only one with whom this has happened ??

Mine changed from +99 to +63. May be there was some changes in contribution point formula :D

To put it shortly, contribution is now weighted. If a comment/blog is d days old and has sum of votes x, it's counted as if it had sum of votes .

I would take this opportunity to suggest some changes in contribution system.

  1. Once I gave a negative vote to post by mistake. I wanted to reverse that, but the page said that you can not vote twice. I think that this should be changed.

  2. Contribution points are really small in scale. As users see both toppers of rating points and contribution points, rating toppers have higher numbers, contribution points are really low in scale. I think the scale of both the numbers should be made equivalent. Otherwise it seems like codeforces gives less weightage to contribution points. I really feel that large numbers in contribution would be more good and motivating for people :)

Down?? I had -32 and now I have +7 :D. On one round I was pretty annoyed because of one issue and I have written few comments and each got something like ~ -50 and this caused my contribution fell really down :P, lower than -50. Later I had many upvoted comments, but even though my contribution have grown to -32 only. And today I saw that now I have +7 :D! I really appreciate these changes :D.
