Solution to reduce cheating

I have a solution to control cheating.
Codeforces should link phone number to account. People may have 10s of email ids but atmost 2 phone numbers(in general). Moreover, nobody will like to make their account dirty because they can't make new one. Believe me this will put permanent end to cheating and this is also possible. Forget about banning telegram/youtube channels, people have dozens of other ways to do cheating + that is not even possible by codeforces.
How others think of this?
It's better to discuss cheating related issues in a single post rather than creating new every day.

How would verification work? I may be mistaken, but international texting and calling are not free under most cell plans.

    For that otp can be send via whatsapp or telegram. I hope codeforces will be able to solve this cheating situation, this was the only reason why i shifted from codechef to codeforces.
