Apart from "Competitive Programming" by Steven Halim and "Competitive Programmers Handbook", can you suggest me books related to CP? I want these books to be beginner to intermediate friendly, I mean written for people with rating in the range [1000, 1800].

Every year big companies like Google and Facebook organize many programming contests, like Google hash code, Google code jam, Facebook hacker cup... I was wondering, is it really true that top contestants are offered jobs/internships at these companies? someone told me that this year everyone who reached Facebook hacker cup round 3 were offered internships and every one who reached the onsite contest got a job offer at Facebook. Can anyone please confirm or deny that? Please share your knowledge with the community.
