Hello Codeforces!

I am pleased to invite you to CAMA (Amateur Mathematical and Algorithmic Competition) 2nd Edition. CAMA is a mixed competition of mathematics and informatics founded by Spanish international medallists in said disciplines.

The competition will be split into several divisions to make it a more enjoyable experience for everyone. There will be different categories based on studies (high school and college) and level (basic and advanced). The basic division is intended for those who have never participated in a mathematics or informatics competition before, while the advanced division is focused on contestants who are already veterans.

The contest will take place on the 23rd and 24th of November. More info on our web.

A total prize of 500€ is going to be divided among the winners of all the divisions, with such distribution yet to be determined. More information will be posted in a few days. Hello Codeforces!

I am pleased to invite you to CAMA (Amateur Mathematical and Algorithmic Competition, the acronym comes from Spanish). CAMA is a mixed competition of mathematics and informatics founded by Spanish international medallists in those disciplines. Although the competition is mainly focused on Spanish students, it is open for everyone!

The competition will be split in two divisions, basic and advanced. The basic division is intended for those who have never participated in a mathematics/informatics competition, while the advanced division is focused on contestants who are already veterans. Before signing up for a division, please note that you can only be eligible for prizes in the combined category if you have signed up for the advanced division in both mathematics and informatics, and winners of the basic divisions will receive fewer prizes.

The mathematics competition will take place on October 21st at 19:00 CEST, while the informatics competition will be on October 28th at 19:00 CEST.

If interesting problems in mathematics and informatics are not enough to convince you to participate, pay attention. Each category will have prizes for the winner of that category, and the mathematics and informatics categories also offer prizes to the winners of the basic divisions. Prize details are as follows:

  • Winner in the combined category: 30€

  • Winner in mathematics: 20€

  • Winner in informatics: 20€

  • Winner in the mathemathics basic division: 10€

  • Winner in the informatics basic division: 10€

(There are additional prizes for Spanish students, but I won't include them since they are probably not relevant to the majority of users here.)

The informatics problems are authored by: danx, Hectorungo_18, javiergm06, Rigobertus and me, Esomer!

The mathematics problems are authored by: javiergm06 and Neophiliatic.

For more information about the contest, you can join our Discord server. We will notify you about updates, and you can ask any questions there!

UPD: If a participant wins multiple prizes, he will only be given the highest-valued one, and the rest of the prizes will be given to the next ranked contestants. All the prizes will be given in the form of Amazon gift cards.

UPD2: The contest has now finished and we have uploaded it to the gym, you can find it here, we will soon upload the editorial. Prizes will be sent when we finish correcting the math competition, which will be in one week, two at most.
