Please try to answer to these questions.
Do you enjoy making people suffer?
Do you like people being angry at you?
Do you like to hear that people hate your problem?
Do you like to be constantly insulted after your round?
Do you think that hiding a shitty problem under the disguise of hard statement makes you a genius problem setter?
Do you really think that people care or enjoy your shitty unrelated stories?
If the answer to any of those questions is yes, I request you to never set any problems ever. If the answers are no, please don't set problems with long statements. It is really annoying and boring at the same time. Yes, Codeforces has improved a lot. And it is very enjoyable overall. But the problem setters around the world, doesn't seem to have a clue about it. Some of the ICPC regional problems have shitty terrible statements. Some of us never used platforms like UVA because of those annoyances. But old problem setters seems to be still living in their nostalgia and cherishing the terrible days of UVA, which makes them set terribly horrible problems. They are still blind with nostalgia. I hope they will realize that they are badly hurting our contest experiences by not knowing the new(higher) standards of problem statements and they should probably leave problem setting to the young guys. I know that the old guys are more experienced and probably are better than the young guys in terms of skill. But the young guys know what the current demand is. And they regularly participate in Codeforces contests to know what new generation of problems look like. If I have hurt anybody, I am extremely sorry. Thanks for reading.
