Hello, Codeforces!

We have started the qualification contest of the Open Olympiad in Informatics! The Open Olympiad in Informatics is one of the most prestigious and challenging olympiads for school students in Russia. Every year, the most experienced students from Russia and other countries participate in the final of the olympiad. Starting this year, the results of the Open Olympiad will also be taken into account for the selection of participants for the Russian national team in informatics at various international olympiads. The tasks for the olympiad are prepared by the Moscow Olympiad Scientific Committee that you may know by Moscow Team Olympiad, Moscow Olympiad for Young Students and Metropolises Olympiad (rounds 327, 342, 345, 376, 401, 433, 441, 466, 469, 507, 516, 541, 545, 567, 583, 594, 622, 626, 657, 680, 704, 707, 727, 751, 775, 802, 829, 852, 852, 857, 905).

This year, we decided to make Open Olympiad actually open for all international participants. Now the olympiad has a new website inf-open.ru, with English version. All problem statements are also translated to English. We are inviting all international school students to participate in olympiad!

The final stage of the olympiad will take place on March 8 and 9, 2024, in Moscow. The final will consist of two 5-hour contests. All foreign participants will be able to participate remotely, but we will be happy to see participants in person. All in-person participants in Moscow will be provided with accommodation and meals.

The qualification stage of the olympiad has already stated and will continue until January 15. For the qualification stage we have prepared many interesting problems, we hope you will enjoy them. We are inviting everyone to participate in the qualification stage of the olympiad, If you have already graduated from school, you can participate in contest as unofficial participant.

The problems for the qualification contest have been prepared for you by Olerinskiy, teraqqq, daubi, Kirill22, Siberian, Alexdat2000, ReTlaCe, stepanov.aa, ViktorSM, Tikhon228 and Stefan2417, under the guidance of me, grphil and Elena Andreeva.

Hello, Codeforces! (づ。◕‿‿◕。)づ ❤

On Feb/12/2022 17:35 (Moscow time) we will host Codeforces Global Round 19.

It is the first round of a 2022 series of Codeforces Global Rounds supported by XTX Markets. The rounds are open and rated for everybody.

The presents for this round:

  • 30 best participants get a t-shirt.
  • 20 t-shirts are randomly distributed among those with ranks between 31 and 500, inclusive.

The presents for the 6-round series in 2022:

  • In each round top-100 participants get points according to the table.
  • The final result for each participant is equal to the sum of points he gets in the four rounds he placed the highest.
  • The best 20 participants over all series get sweatshirts and place certificates.

The problems were written and prepared by Mangooste, TeaTime, __JustMe__ and EvgeniyPonasenkov.

We are very thankful to people, who made this round possible:

The score distribution will be announced closer to the start of the round.
