Errichto's blog

By Errichto, 3 years ago, In English

When some country organizes an ICPC or IOI preparation camp, they often need a teacher from abroad. When they ask me, I usually decline because of a lack of time. I want to be able to link this blog so they would find a good teacher.

If you teach and want to be reached by camp organizers, leave a comment and say something about your experience.

More info about such camps

Feel free to advertise your 1:1 online coaching too. It's not the main purpose of this blog though.

Hello, I'm a 1-on-1 CP-couch, and I've done it for around 3 years now. I've also had some experience with group lessons, but only online for now, including UAE camp for IOI. Recently I've developed a problem for Russian IOI camp, so I'm also in for such proposals.

I'm not sure if he's still coaching, but mentioning Tomasz Idziaszek (monsoon) here in case he is because he coached my team for ICPC and did a fantastic job with some excellent lectures :)

Also, go buy his CP books: Looking for a Challenge and Looking for a Challenge 2

I can advertise my services — I taught at multiple Polish and international camps (I was the main organizer of some of them). I mostly focus on IOI and I had several medal-winning students at IOI (5 gold, 1 silver, and 1 bronze medal so far).

I was one of kostka's students, and he is one of the best teachers/coaches I have ever had. He was teaching me in high school and did a great job. Without him, I can't imagine getting similar results in the competitions. I strongly recommend him as a teacher.

I can confirm that kostka has a lot of experience — both coaching Polish students and teaching at camps abroad.

I also recall that tehqin teaches at camps, and stefdasca does coaching.
