18th RANK :)

Great performance by Rain! His CF graph is very inspiring
how did rainboy study for 1 year to win against chinese top 4 and fail to secure gold medal... is he at all talented at cp? even most greys do not regress, their ratings trend to go up in the 0-1199 range for the first few contests and stagnate somewhere, but they do not drop from 1199 rating to 0 rating unless they delibrately throw... it really puts into question if he is learning from his reverse cf rounds stratgey, since if he does not solve a problem he obviously doesn't improve at all (no one ever told me to FAIL TO SOLVE problems instead of SOLVE problems when i ask about how to improve), and if he only tries the final few problems he would eventually forget what it takes to do problems such as div. 2 ABC, which shakes up his fundamentals in cp and it's only evident now at ioi... rainboy is an overhyped fool who tries to be an enigma but already fails miserably, i cant imagine above bronze medal for him at future ioi (his score will probably go down in a curve too, like 100th place next year and 150 the year after that)... would love to see the rest of the usa team clutch up and carry this dead weight who somehow gets to represent my country at ioi by absolutely fluking through team selection every time and beat china to secure top 3 spots USA
a single contest sure has variance in score but please tell me a more accurate way to gauge rainboy's skill level when he never drops the reverse order bs... RAINBOY NEEDS TO STOP GETTING LUCKY ON ALL USACO CONTESTS AND USA IOI SELECTION... RAINBOY BELIEVERS MUST READ THIS
how about you post this on your main account mr most likely newbie
orz rainboy for being the legend of cf :)
rainboy is an inspiration to coders all around the world, including myself. He's better than you'll ever be, and will continue to get better. He had one unlucky contest -- he'll bounce back next year trust.
This probably counts as feeding the trolls, but just for the record: rainboy won 5th place (and an obvious gold) at IOI 2021, so pretty much everything in this comment is baseless.
Obviously, his way of practicing did not work for the 2022 IOI. He did worse.
I assume he doesn't practice mainly through codeforces (and in my opinion his reverse strategy is a smart way to make the most of codeforces in terms of improving problem-solving abilities), and obviously the fact that he did worse in one contest doesn't mean he got worse or didn't practice well. rainboy is extremely talented, and if he doesn't get bored from cp/ioi we can hope to see him win ioi 2023
你要不仔细看看你在说什么狗屁话?
Instead of judging rainboy's performance, please judge my performance :D
Like you're ever gonna make it to IOI like him
go touch grass
I thought he would get first :(, but he can't win everything I guess. Still good performance with many more IOI's to go!
How old is he?
He should've just finished freshman year, so 3 more tries at IOI.
