It's been 10 days since I can't login into the applet arena (timeout) and the official link to the arena gives 404.
It it the final decision? Is there any announcement for that?

You can download the latest version from this link: Topcoder arena
It works, thank you!
The new applet is blocked by Java Security although topcoder.com site is in the exception site list. Any idea how to solve this issue?
Solution: https://medium.com/@softxide/resolve-topcoder-application-blocked-by-java-security-in-windows-b6ecbdef541d Had to add few more sites as mentioned in the blog.
Compiling my code always concludes with "Sorry, the request is timeout." Can anybody help?
I guess supporting quantum tunnel to the 2011 is expensive now
It turns out that: when a contest (e.g. SRM) is scheduled or just passed, you can practice in the arena normally; once the latest contest has concluded for long (e.g. more than 2~3 weeks) the arena judge will be shut down and you get "Sorry, the request is timeout" or "ERROR while submitting: Error occurred while trying to copy TEXT or BYTE data" constantly.
Then waiting for the time window of next contest is the only choice.
Perhaps the answer is YES today: https://archive.topcoder.com/
