Hello everyone at codeforces. After playing with codeforces for a year, I love algorithmic competitions, I don't have many hobbies, codeforces is one of them, but I'm hesitant if I should stay after my friend quit, or switch to other hobbies? If you don't have friends to work hard with, will you stay and continue?

I would like to know how you would choose in this situation, or what hobbies do you have?

Part 1- I will try to find new Friends having similar interests if possible. Part 2- My hobbies are playing table tennis, badminton and football sometimes. Also i love cp a lot.

If CP is something you actually enjoy, you definitely shouldn't stop. I personally don't currently know anyone who is interested in CP, but I have motivation to practice since I want to make it to the IOI.

How would you imagine somebody saying something like: "Give up, switch to swimming"? CP is a great brain and programming exercise, don't switch, instead add some physical sport if you don't do anything. At the end you will be a smart and strong boy.

As long as I can still type, I think. I know that one university professor who participates in CP at age 60.

This really inspires me a lot. Would you mind talking more about this great professor? I think his story must be huge inspiration to others.
