Dear Codeforces,

I am ecstatic to invite you to participate in CodeSprint LA 2023, UCLA ACM-ICPC's annual beginner-friendly algorithms contest, planned for Sunday, May 21, 2023, 10am — 5pm PDT! The contest runs from Sunday, May 21, 2023, 11:30am — 4:30pm PDT!

The codesprintla.com website is now live, click here for more details. Or you can go straight to registration at codesprintla.com/register. The registration deadline has been extended to Wednesday, May 17, 2023, 11:59 PDT!

This year we are planning:

  • A 5 hour team competition with ICPC scoring

  • Beginner (around Div. 3-4) and Open (around Div. 1-2) divisions

  • Total prize pool of $2800 sponsored by Jane Street, Wolfram Alpha, and Hudson River Trading

  • Prize pool of $600 specifically for high school participants, sponsored by AlphaStar Academy

CodeSprint LA 2021 had over 360 participants and CodeSprint LA 2022 had around 500! Problems are available at:

This year's contest is directed by Suhas Nagar. Thanks Suhas! Problems are written by MasterCraft, Plums, FriendToDino, orane63, biocarry15, rishisankar, nikilrselvam, summertony717, VisualProgrammer, kamishogun, no_proper_name_left, others, and myself.
