Hello. Do you know the Fairfield's congruence?
Firstly, if m is 1 or 2, compute y=y-1,m=m+12. Then calculating this formula, you can get the number of days between an arbitrary date and 01/01/0001.
In Japan, this formula is known as the Fairfield's congruence, but I have never seen the foreign people who have been talking about it.

I think this is what you are referring to, https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Julian_date#Calculation ,yet I can't see any "Fairfield" on the page, also search results for "Fairfield congruence/formula" doesn't show anything useful. I think someone made that naming up and it spread among the Japanese programmers. By the way, Fairfield is a city in California, maybe this is somehow related...
I'm sorry to delay in replying to you. Thanks. I learned about the Julian date in the link. Yeah, Fairfield exists in the real world. That's why I wondered the formula's name. Maybe, someone tricked Japanese programmer!
